Shaky if

I was tossing a few "shaky" ideas around in my head, when last night on the news, Sears Tower (here in Chicago) opened their newest tourist attraction. They call it The Ledge. It is a 4 foot, all glass balcony that is 103 floors up, which is 1,353 feet. It opened on July 2. They were showing some kids that were the first to venture out onto the balcony. One of the boys said, "My legs were shaking!" I trashed my original "shaky" ideas and went with The Ledge.

  3. The kids is so adorable! I feel his pain. I have a fear of heights. Stayed in a hotel on the 22nd floor and I felt like I could feel the building swaying all night. . .

  5. I've been hearing so much about that, and my opinion on it remains the same: Why on earth would anyone want to go up there!? I can't even climb a ladder without getting worried about falling. I love how you integrated the art with the photo!

  7. That's amazing. I saw that news report. I kinda can't wait to come back to Chicago so I can stand on it myself. I'm usually at the 95th signature restaurant looking out at the peaks of the Sears Tower.

    Wonderful illustration! He's so cute.
