Perspective

For the Illustration Friday prompt "perspective" I decided to try to use the point of view and the physical perspective. I know that there has been a lot of this going on lately :o)

  1. fabulous piece and super perspective, I love their very different reactions, I have to say I am a wimp in the cold so my reaction would be more like guy on the ground floor!
Keep warm and well Jack, and thank you thank you for the super lovely comment, I am totally honored.

  2. Jack this is perfect - love your double take on this.

Exactly our scenario right now! Although when the kids get older we're glad they're home 'cause we can get them to do stuff around the house!

  3. HILARIOUS, Jack!! This is exactly what is going on at our house! And the twist is, once the parents get used to the idea that the plans for the day (working) are totally upended, the kids get bored... HA! Love the expressions AND the perspective!

  10. Hi Jack!
Thank you for visiting and welcome to my blog too.
I just arrived home from a very long vacation in the tropics even though it wasn't as warm as I had wished!
Your art is amazing! I totally relate to what you drew.. as I arrived home, my grand daughter said.. "Oh Nana".. Look it is snowing.. ..I must have had a very dreadful look on my face as she asked me if I thought it was pretty.. I replied,
"when I was your age, I used to think it was too"! Then I smiled and told her it is very pretty still but it is too cold!
    lol
Thank you for you very nice comments on my blog and art.. I hope to see you once again.
    Hugs in Christ Jesus..
and so happy to see another Christian blogger.. :-)

  11. Wow, that picture is a book in itself! We all have different perspectives, some see the glass half-full, some half-empty. I love the comedic way you illustrated this!

  24. Oooh, Jack, nice way to combine those perspectives! You are so clever. When it comes to snow, I'm more like the kid up there. But then again, I didn't have to shovel it.

Thank you so much for your kind words and the link. It meant a lot to me. xoxo

  25. I think in a lot of homes you'll find just this kind of difference in perspective. Really great idea!
