mail

I have always thought it was just a fable about mailmen and dogs. But since I became a mailman eleven years ago, this scene has been repeated many times.

  5. Run, Jack, run!! I read in a dog training book that it is very satisfying for dogs to chase mailmen and the like because they always leave... so in their minds, the dog wins!

    Have a Merry Christmas!

  16. This is just too funny, depending on one's perspective! Perhaps the doggie was expecting a letter?

  20. That dog means business. I like how his baggy jowls echo the mail bag he's chasing. Good choice!

  21. Looks like it is time to carry a heavier bag! After all, it would make one fine weapon! Great work as always.

  22. Run, Jack, run! Awwww, I'm sure it's all too common. And some thoughtless owners let their big dogs run loose. G-R-R-R-R-R-R.

  25. Merry Christmas Jack! I love your illos! I hope no dog has ever gotten close to biting you! We don't have a mailman, but we do have UPS and our dogs go crazy. He's very nice and pets them, but before and after they act so crazy! I think it is just a big game (to them at least). I hope you and your family have a lovely holiday season!

  30. He looks fierce but I get the feeling all this little guy is gonna do is lick ya to death. That's pretty much what my dog would do. Especially if you've got some treats around. Nice illo!

  31. gee I always wanted to be a mailman. did you know you can get chain mail undies? I think you need to buy them on the internet.

    ;)

Jack, I love your eyebrows. Where would we be without eyebrows eh? We would be eyebrowless I guess.

Thanks for making me laugh again.

Since I found your site I have discovered another 45 wrinnkles!

Some of them are even on my face.

    Seriously, great stuff Jack!

  32. you really a trained mailman? but then you have to know that no every dog is like this tomandjerry dog and in real life it's never the dog's fault all the people should know that before doing such horrible things like throwing stones and the like but i have to admit it that you look funny despite of the fact that half of your skull is missing or is it flying away under your hat? bye
