  1. I'll have to tell my grandson that is was his birthday in the morning, he loves Maurice Sendak. Every time I read "Where the Wild Things Are" he pipes up and says "by Maurice Sendak"

  2. Hey Jack, now if I had teeth like t hat my dentist would get a surprise. A lovely tribute to a master.

I wonder if Maurice Sendak will return the favour? I hope so, you deserve it!

  9. Hi Jack - Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am even more impressed with your work after now visiting your blog. You do amazing illustrations. The characters, color and setting bring out the story to the most fullest potential. I love the illustrations you did on: Sh Sh Sh Let the Baby Sleep (with Kathy Stemke), Stella, the Fire Farting Dragon (with J. Aday Kennedy) and Poodle & Doodle (with Donna J. Shepherd). I really just touched on reading your blog and had to stop to send you this message. Amazing work! I would wish you best of luck with all your artistic talents, but I have to admit that with this fine talent, luck has nothing to do with it. You are an inspriation on a high level. - Maeve
