Hope that you are staying busy and not having to fan yourself to death in all this heat. If hell is any hotter why would you want to go? 4. Ahahaha! Is this a personal experience? My advice would be...add some huge green toads into the pool, and you never know, they might think twice about coming back. But then, it might even backfire...if they happen to be toad lovers. :D :D

  18. Jack you know George Bernard Shaw once went to see Osacr Wilde's The importance of being Ernest and was observed to screaming with joy and metaphorically laughing his head off, but as he was leaving the theatre he was asked what he thought of the play. And he replied (Wilde being his finest and wittiest opposition)"Oh it was boring, nothing but fluff. Nothing serious and worthwhile remembering."

What a gruff eh? If Georgey baby was alive today I am sure he would look at your work and see a primeval metaphor for the human condition o0zing from all of your work. You see GBS missed the point. Humour explains the essence of things and lets us see our lives in a new light.

Thanks for making me laugh. And explaining the essence of my life! (I am selling the pool :) )

  19. YAY for Jack! I was just mentioning you to a few of my non-illustrator friends and said that this lovely blog community of ours gives us the opportunity to make new friends in a whole different arena and that your work is a perennial favorite each week for me. I said, if you want to see the word for the IF prompt each week that will give you a smile or a huge laugh, go to Jack's page. He never disappoints. This is one awesome post, my friend..yep, perennial swimming friends! How fun!! Thank you for your lovely visits and kindness, Jack! I hope you are enjoying your summer with good family times and lots of time to create (how do you do it all?!).

  20. Hey there, Jack! You are the greatest with these themes each and every week. I haven't been as great about commenting. Trying to meet a deadline is tough work. I love the innocence of the kids and dog, along for the ride! You capture realistic emotional expressions so well. Thank you MUCHLY for taking the time to catch up on my blog! Your words could not have come at a better time. I am often plagued with doubt and your comment righted my attitude. Until next week! Can't wait to see what you do for obsession!
