O Christmas Tree

Yay! I finished illustrating O Christmas Tree for Guardian Angel Publishing this week. It is a wonderful and unique way of telling the true meaning of Christmas. It was written By Lindsay Bonilla and the publisher is trying to get it out before the holiday season. Illustrating a Christmas book in August and September felt strange. I just popped on some Christmas music, cranked the air-conditioning up, put on my sweatshirt and sipped some hot cocoa.  Season’s Greeting!    :o)

  2. Hey Jack big congrats. I know I already said this but you ROCK! :) (Hmm or is it the other way round?) But seriously, what a great cover - and I dig how you got into the groove .... I'd have to eat several helpings of pudding and cream to get into the mood - then I would be too ill to work :)

Hey, guess what? I think I may have a publisher for my book. My author coach is working on the details as we speak...

  5. Congratulation, Jack! Awesome news and such a great image. I always love your eyeballs. Your style is so uniquely you. I would recognize it anywhere. Even your commentary is funny. I can just imagine you sweating it out in August trying to illustrate this. Many blessing my friend.

  9. Yay Jack! You did a wonderful job bringing the story to life! Thank you so much! I had to chuckle reading about you with the AC turned up sipping hot cocoa! :) But whatever you did to get in the mood, it worked! I'm now awaiting my first copies from Lynda and can't wait to get out and share this story with the little ones -- especially in my tree costume as Treena! It's going to be fun. Thanks again, and many blessings to you!
