Hilarious!!!! What fun! I love him. You got the perspective thing down! This so wonderfully illustrated. You've done it again my friend. Hope that all is well with you and that you are doing well. Take care. V
Hello Jack, Well I'm so happy to be at your blog! Your illustrations are awesome! There's a sweet spirit at this place. I'm glad to be here and look forward to reading your lovely posts.
Thank you for leaving a nice comment on my blog, I appreciate that! All God's best! Eve
Hhm. What could have possibly upset Herbie to make him want to jump? Not enough breadcrumbs to satisfy his appetite? Too many frogs dominating the pond? Heheh. :))
Well, love this little restless character, Jack. Always fun to come by here, especially when in need of a little cheering up! (hugs)
Jack I sure do hope your little duck doesn't jump. He is too cute to die for a false mom duck. Maybe they should offer him a big deep tub filled with water to jump into? Great illustration as always!
Oh, Mr. Jack, you know your comments always make me smile? I'm sure your heart is probably as big or maybe even much much bigger than those round eyes I see in your characters? Hahahaa... Well, Margaret Mitchell was a smart lady, romantic but sensible. I agree with her totally.
Now, about that cave. Which one is this? Is that bat with the beer hat in it? :D :D :D
i don't understand can't he fly or her mom was never around to teach him how and for what to use those wings? maybe that's why he doesn't trust in the resqueteam either and if he can be that easily confused by an artificial momduck voice like this calling it's just sad cos all the children should know and recognize their mother's voice by heart and things like this just happens when a mum long before forgot that she's a mother. it really saddens me and your duck looks quite desperate and lonesome and lost and his head is big and the beak as well and the bushy eyebrows tell he is too old to start again and if i were in your shoes my artificial mumduck would have been the real mother and the voice would have said please jump i love you cos she only wants to encourage him to fly and i'd have put a protecting rope around his not so slender waist just in case and my jumping duck would have been much older i think i'd have put on a grizzly beard and receding featherline and maybe on his wings there would be some hitech supersonic enginegizmo attached that he invented and maybe his mum rather could be an angelduck by now and she would be very very proud of her one and only son and would only say i love you herbie and herbie would say see mom this time i'm gonna work it out see jack something like that but i know it's your story though a sad one so bye and next time draw something real funny right see you later
