great take on the theme!
Ha! Clever as usual.
Man, I love this!Beautiful work!
Yummy--sweet guy! And so witty-- forest preserves- HA!
excellent my friend, you are so creative, who, but you, would think of Smokey the Bear for "breakfast" you are so "out of the box", I love it!
Hehehee... I think I mostly love the 'eagerly happy but doubtful' look in his eyes! Your characters always give smiley faces in my head...Now, I wonder what upside down bats eat for breakfast?? (^____^)
Wonderful! And a little tid bit, I actually own a Smokey the Bear, have collected bears since I was little... so your illo put an even bigger smile on my face.Have a great weekend!
Hi Jack,Thanks for stopping by my blog and your wonderful comments. I grew up in Chicago but I live in the Joliet are now. Have been out this way for the past 13 years. Prefer it to the fast paced city life. lolYou are a very talented illustrator. I've taken some graphic design classes and love playing in Illustrator and Photoshop but graphite seems to be the medium I love most. It's very nice to meet you and I am now a follower of your blog!
Ha ha... good one! Smokey is so cute. :)
so lovely Jack! and i love this bear sweet eyes!
Love his expression : ) thanks for your comment.
may the blessing be always with you!!..................................................................
Such a neat eater for a bear! But then again Smokey is almost human. Nicely done!
My fav part is his tongue sticking out. :)
He eats what he preaches so to speak? Nice illustration! He's got that glazed, Mmmmmm...preserves, look about him. Breakfast certainly has that hypnotic effect on me.
Ahahaa...Jack, you are such a laugh! I suppose making my own puppet would be out of the question now since it would cost too much and I'm already broke?? Hhm, maybe I would have to sell my work after all...heheh.And you should try one of those beer hats with the long straw!! it might just work for drinking upside down! :D :DYou know, you are funny just as you are kind. So thank you, my friend. I'm now happier to know that my name is written across a board somewhere along the street of NYC! Hahahaa!!
this is funny - i bet those preserves are organic!
oh Jack!!! what a cool piece...I love this wonderful bear enjoying his extra special breakfast!!! you are so clever!!!
Heh Jack, is this where the party is. I guess you are not talking to me since I did Jack be Nimble.... :)Now this guy looks very keen to hoe into his breakfast, the tongue hanging out just adds the right touch, the eyebrows - now they are 'concentrating' eyebrows. You are doing 2d animation? That's wonderful! What program are you using, or are you doing it by hand//?
Looks very tasty!
he's great, jack! now, if he just had some peanut butter to go with that jelly!
I guess Yogi's not the only bear pilfering pic-a-nic baskets. Nice one, Jack! Haven't been by in a while lots of great new stuff!
Ahhh, he's cute Jack! Love his hat and his expression, brilliant! :-)

Practice what you preach.............................................................
Your bear seems worried about something but I know he's going to love that blackberry jelly on toast. A perfect breakfast for a bear.
He looks a bit worried is it about his sticky paws! Sweet!
