I was in St Louis over the weekend for a Children's Illustrated Art Museum event and a book signing at a St Louis Borders, so when I got back tonight, I had to incorporate their famous Arch into my IF submission.
very cute Jack, a tightrope walking elephant much definitely be a talented acrobat! I'm trying to find time to submit this week. I have been too busy to paint for weeks :( !!! My Wacom has now begun to weep from neglect, lol.
Wow! Ellie's last name must be Wallenda! Looks like she's got some good moral support going for her-- sometimes it just takes someone to believe in you!
You know, I always come here with a smile on my face before I even see the image. And I wasn't dissapointed. I must say how I admire the way you have extrapolated the elephant motif from the surrounding clouds and how you have got that reverse arch thing happening to balance out the big dominant arch.
Now a big dominant arch? I think I have seen an advertisement in the personals....!
But seriously, a book signing? That's just great. It must be very exciting I think. It's good to see you doing so well!
cheers from Oz
PS I was coming here yesterday but I took the path less followed - it was overgrown and I got lost......
great expressions, I love to know what they're saying to each other... Ellaphant "do you think I'm taking 'testing my faith' a little too far?" Birdie "nah, God loves a trier":)
Well, I guess if anything could hold up an elephant, it would be that arch! Ooohooohoo, what a mischievous birdie. Looking GREAT, Jack! A book signing, YAYYYY! Wish I could've been there.
Man, I don't know WHAT blogger's doing! I'm supposed to be following you, but your posts were not showing up on my dash. Grrrrr. Well, I just RE-followed you. :D
