I just love it! I so remember having that kind of tv with the Bunny ear antena that NEVER seemed to want to come in real well. Thanks for the memories!
Excellent illo, Jack! Was just talking with the hubby about these shows a few weeks back. How much we enjoyed them, what a shame that there's none like them for kids today. Life before cable... ;)
Hey Jack, we still don't have colour tv! We habve a bit of coloured perspex which is blue on top, flesh coloured in the middle, and green on the bottom. Which brings me to your carpet! You must have lived on a diet of lime spiders...?
Disney was on at 6.30 till 7.30 every Sundaty night when I was a kid, At 7.30 on came Mchales' Navy. Soemtimes when I was good I was allowed to watch it,
uh oh... when I do the math logic, it turns out that if this memory is old fashioned, and I have this memory, then therefore I am old fashioned. I never liked math much anyway...
Great piece, Jack! Stirs up some ancient memories. What a great show, and even better, right after we got to watch Jim getting mauled by rabid baboons on Wild Kingdom... now THAT was some great reality TV!
