Now that Christmas vacation is over, I'm sure the school bus drivers are feeling a bit confined again. If you are a bus driver... God bless you for all you do!
Hey Jack! Thanks so much for coming to visit me. Happy New Year to you and your family!!! I love this illustration and I know that school bus drivers across America are hailing you king right now! he he he! This is wonderful and a great play on words. Great job as always. Wishing you much joy and creativity in 2010!
Very funny, and a great image!! I could never be a bus driver! The bus is a strange place, and a good bus driver can make a huge difference. My boys had one who said he wasn't allowed to give out treats at Christmas, but he couldn't help it if the kids took them! He also sped up to go flying over a dip in the road-- the kids loved him!
What a great illustration! I remember sitting in a school bus just like that. And you have captured the feeling of not being able to get off to escape from the noise and bedlam in the bus and the overwhelming sense of being out of control. I was the wimpy kid who didn't laugh but you can't see me there. LOL
Woooooow great illustration, perfect and unusual for the topic, the bus driver "confined" expression is amazing :o))) Thank you for your precious words on my blog! a big hug Faruffa
This is great Jack - that poor busdriver looks mighty tired and confined! Both my boys come home with bus riding tales all the time. Eventhough their drivers are cranky, I know it's a tough job, so I make them Christmas cookies every year anyway! LOVE your characters!
Gosh, I'm glad I'm not a bus driver. We were a bunch of unruly monkeys on the bus. Great illustration. I added your link to my blog. =+) Happy New Year, J. Aday Kennedy The Differently-Abled Children's Author www.jadaykennedy.com
Hi Jack! Thanks for the comment about Diane and Noodles. I thought that picture was priceless too! I can't be tired of the snow yet, I'm sure we'll be getting a lot more for alot longer, so I better be stingy with my exasperation of it or it will send me over the edge!
You hit the nail on the head with this weeks illustration. I can only imagine what that must be like for the bus driver!
Hi Jack- Thanks so much for your comment. This illustration of yours is tops! The bus driver seems to be just dealing with it, nice addition of tipping the bus! ... Great work!
So very true, Jack! What a fabulous illustration..that poor man, I hope he has the patience of a Saint. : ) Always wonderful to see your work. Hope you're having a great week!
Great take-- just looking at it brings on a headache! (I mean that in a good way, mind you.) Thank goodness there are those with enough patience & fortitude to take on this job.
I am no bus driver but I concur. I've ridden the bus and know that side of it. Great illustration!
