Hooray Jack!! My "wanna-be" evangelist wheels are turning too! (Can't really resist with a word like renewal.) Did you really do this today? Amazing!! Your characters always have so much heart!
Wow, Jack! This is beautiful. And so befitting the scripture. 2010 will definitely be a time of renewal for us all, particularly for those who belong to God. We've come through a lot, in 2009, I know it was rough for me. But I believe God that all of the tears I cried will be replaced with a renewal of laughter and the Joy of the Lord which is our strength. Happy New Year, my friend!
Now you're gonna get me in trouble for saying the eagle could swoop down and eat the little chicken, but I won't say that since it's a nice spiritual verse and a great illustration as usual...Instead he will, with the help of the lord soar like the eagle. Here's to a great new year of Jack's illustrations
awwwwww, this is so comforting :) thank you for your words Jack you are a very sweet man and it means alot! The future is so bright we gotta wear shades :D
This verse is a favorite of mine. There is so much power in Isaiah and so much prophecy that is repeated in the gospels. Your illustration is wonderful.
Ah, Jack. This is lovely! So visually inspiring, as well as such a great sentiment and hope for the New Year. I'm always grateful for your kind visits and I always come by here and leave with a smile. Great work, Jack, as usual. Have a great week ahead!!
Hay, what can I say that hasn't been said before? The whole illustration makes you think, doesn't it? Thanks for the reminder. Happy New year! cheers (insert smiley face here)
ha! I was baptised when I was 15 and over the last 13 years have kind of lost my way - I was given that verse on my baptism by 33 people. It always seems to crop up here and there.
Thanks for this great reminder of scripture Jack - this little chick has big aspirations and he'll get there - great inspiration for us all!
